we dreams of metamorphosis

This is about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton:

we dreams of metamorphosis

if you tolly the tally
tickle the toob
the black caterpillar will win,
believe what the teller tells!
even beat white butterfly's wings to end
-the one with the estranged color.
nobody likes to wait.
so we dreams circle the date
for the great debate.
elephants do dry heat for means to life
it is not for every other.
doily desert does not divide we dreams here
in these united states.

we dreams whisper the beeny jop
to the tickled tack teams.
we dreams wish the polly party to unite
there is still a chiral chance!
we dreams fought the eight years of blunder
like a kind, kinder care nap.
we dreams awake and roll safe in our own signs
in front of plummeting yards
and primitive minds.
We dreams towards an end of meaningless drought of life
The cocoon crumbles.

now the ebony party sits smooth on high steps
and parches the tip of the top wet with wealth un-bequeathed.
the lolly land waits with scorched minds.
field length stretches still to gain.
we dreams wait for the discernible metamorphosis
need any morph!
we dreams to other turns
then the black butterfly with white speckled wings prevails
for a better tomorrow,
for the life of a dream,
we dream.

Although I believe poems are left to interpretation, I will provide an explanation.

Explanation of poem:

PLAYERS:

the black caterpillar signifies Obama

the white butterfly Hillary Clinton

the estranged color - Bill Clinton

to the end:well the race that just ended

we dreams: US.Americans

Circle the date: either the presidential election or the official announcement for the party's representative

elephants: Bush / Republican party

doily desert: Bush's dreams

polly party: the democratic party (Clinton / Obama), but ULTIMATELY both parties (ALL parties idealy )

8 years of blunder : previous 8 years

kinder care nap: did not take decisive action

roll safe in our own signs: a way of saying in our own skin w/o saying it directly

plummeting yards: value loss of homes

meaningless drought of life: meaningless death of life

wealth un-bequeathed: Obama earned his place, it was not given like other Presidents of past

field length stretches still to gain: there is still a presidency to win

discernible metamorphosis: the change Obama will bring through election

the black butterfly with white speckled wings: Obama and Clinton on the same ticket

In general:

The language is purely playful, but used to juxtapose a serious issue against non-sensical words.
